Front of House Manager

Pizza Chef (scope for promotion to Head Chef)

Start date: Ideally by April

Shifts: initially around 30 hours per week but increasing to 40-45 with experience & responsibility. This will be predominantly spread over 4 to 5 days including weekends.

We are looking for an experienced chef to join our small team. Our focus is pizza, the slow fermented sourdough base and toppings, but we also make a range of gelato and complimentary sides. We have an open kitchen for customers to watch pizzas being made.

You’ll need to have 2 years experience in a fast-paced restaurant and have the potential to manage a small team and a busy pass handling both dine-in and delivery platforms simultaneously. Due to the delicacy of our sourdough, a solid foundation and competence in mixing, shaping and baking bread or pizza is preferred – but we can teach you this.

We are always striving to improve what we do, how we do it and ultimately what we offer, providing a consistently high standard of food. Mastering our core service will be a primary focus during the initial period but there will be ample opportunity for developing new menu items or organising events.

Pay is dependant on experience.

Front of House Manager

Start date: Beginning of April (or before)

Shifts: 30-40 hours per week once dine-in allowed, usually spread over 4 days. You must be available to work weekends and evening.

We are looking for someone to lead our front of house team as we welcome back customers into our restaurant. You will be responsible not only for day-to-day operations but also team member progression and wellbeing.

You should have at least 2 years experience working in hospitality, including table service. Although prior manager experience is not essential you should already be regularly operating as a shift supervisor looking after a small team.

Customers are our livelihood, you should relish in helping people get the best experience from their time. We are a small team who needs to be flexible and work together, that includes getting stuck in with helping out the kitchen. Shifts can be quiet or super busy, you should be able to be pro-active and able to remain collected under pressure.

Pay is dependant on experience.
